meet the creative
I am a passionate photographer based in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, specialising in newborn, maternity and family photography.
My initial love of photography began in 2009 where I started out assisting in wedding photography. After the birth of my first child Abigail, the love affair with the camera soon turned into obsession.
Soon enough, my skills behind the lens developed quite a reputation and following on social media and through word of mouth – and from here McGill Photography was born.
Being a mother, I understand first-hand how quickly our little cherubs grow; and just how important it is to have really beautiful family photography to capture these milestones.
With the blessing of having both an amazingly natural light-filled indoor studio, as well as an abundant and totally unique “outdoor studio” being right on my doorstep (courtesy of Mother Nature herself) – using my talented eye and unlimited imagination, I can capture unrivaled beauty.
I’m also known on occasion to joke that the sun truly is my best friend. Using creativity with light has often turned even the most unsuspecting location into my own hidden gem and the end result is nothing short of outstanding.

Not necessarily holiday, but my favourite place is Hamilton Island.
What keeps you motivated for work?
Creating beautiful images and then seeing my clients reactions.

This one. Hands down.
